Education, perseverance, and future goals

Goddy Obasi’s book addresses the challenges of pursuing education and success in an African context, including limited motivation, a lack of role models, and the effects of poverty on learning and ambition. It frames student life around preparation and the possibility of looking beyond the circumstances immediately at hand, with success and personal purpose as its guiding concerns. The description presents the book as advice for students confronting uncertainty about the future, rather than as a story with a specified plot or characters.

Book overview

It isn't easy to get an education and attain success in Africa. There's little or no motivation, hardly any role models, and poverty has eaten deep into individuals' minds, impediment their ability to learn or grow beyond what they see and experience daily.

In this book, Goddy Obasi leads the average student faced with the challenges and uncertainty of the future on how to be prepared and become what God created him or her to be. The title of the book should have been "The Shortcut to Success." Are you ready for success? Then tie your shoelaces, LET'S GO!...
