Five tests in time

At a secretive Time Travel University, the first graduating class faces final exams that determine who will become a time traveler. Alroy and Lavinia begin with a test that seems more like a scavenger hunt—until they are paired with classmates described as inept. The book gathers five short stories, including “A Visit to the Globe” and “Guardian, Friend or Foe?”, under a shared time-travel premise. Its exam framework links the adventures while leaving room for different discoveries and complications across the collection.

Good fit for readers who enjoy
