A restless butterfly at bedtime

A butterfly who would rather stay awake turns bedtime into a small lesson in settling down, including what to do after waking in the night. The story also introduces the distinction between nocturnal and diurnal animals, giving its sleep theme a simple nature-learning thread. The supplied description places it alongside Ross Burach’s earlier books, The Very Impatient Caterpillar and The Little Butterfly That Could.

Good fit for readers who enjoy
