A rhyming bedtime story aboard Noah’s ark

As rain and thunder draw nearer, the animals aboard Noah’s ark crowd into bed seeking comfort. The rhymed text turns the familiar biblical setting into a bedtime scene, with boars, quails, elephants, snakes, and other animals joining Noah. In this board book edition, the story connects the approach of a storm with the reassurance of being close to a caring adult. Jane Chapman’s illustrations accompany the read-aloud text.
