Story time needs a little rearranging

A too-short book creates a practical puzzle for a giraffe who cannot fit on the page, bringing six friendly animals together to keep story time going. Speech bubbles invite young readers to participate as the animal group tries creative solutions, using both their bodies and their minds. The setup turns the physical shape of a book into part of the adventure, with a theme of cooperation and adapting a problem-solving approach to the situation.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Children ages 4–8 who enjoy animal-centered picture-book adventures.
  • Young readers who like interactive stories with speech bubbles and opportunities to participate.
  • Families and educators looking for a story about teamwork and creative problem-solving.
