Ned’s journey swings between good luck and bad

Ned sets out for a surprise party a thousand miles away, and each stroke of good fortune is soon met by a new setback. The story’s repeating contrast—fortunately, unfortunately—makes changing circumstances the engine of the adventure, while the illustrations and text carry Ned through one obstacle after another. Presented here in a Classic Board Book edition, it offers a compact premise built around reversals and persistence.
