Rey caught between the First Order and the Resistance
Volume 4 places Rey’s discovery of a lightsaber immediately before a First Order attack. The Resistance intervenes, but Kylo Ren’s kidnapping of Rey keeps the conflict centered on her. As a graphic-novel media tie-in, this installment presents a specific stretch of the larger *Force Awakens* story. The publisher also describes it as aligned with Common Core and correlated with state standards; those are publisher-stated educational features, not independently verified here.
