A familiar holiday tune for preschool’s firsts

Set to the tune of “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” this picture book frames a first day of preschool through familiar classroom moments: making friends, joining circle time, and sharing snacks. Its song-based structure gives those new routines a recognizable pattern, while the subject keeps the focus on the small discoveries of starting school. The book presents preschool as a place filled with activities and opportunities to connect, making the transition its central topic.
