Nineteen year-old Mary returns to her sleepy hometown of Honey Creek, Indiana after dropping out of college theater program in New York. While home for the summer, she attempts to re-connect with her high school friends while finding a new path for her future.

It's primarily a slice of life novel focusing on growing up and handling two different phases of life as a young adult.
