A rhyming introduction to seeing

The Eye Book turns an everyday sense into a starting point for noticing the world. Its simple prompts invite young children to look around and name familiar sights, linking observation with awareness of their own bodies. Dr. Seuss’s rhymes and Joe Mathieu’s illustrations bring the subject into a compact board-book format designed for little hands. The result is an early concept book centered on eyes, seeing, and the objects children encounter around them.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Young children beginning to explore books about the senses
