Building a dream house
Building a dream house
A family’s plan for a mountain vacation home runs into practical setbacks when the builder proves dishonest: work wastes time and money, and building materials go missing. Set in the father’s childhood village, the story brings the construction project into contact with a wider community, as local friends step in to help. The house itself gives the family’s differing views a shared focus, while the outcome of the project remains an open question in the description.
