Dinosaurs revealed through spinning sliders

Each spread pairs a familiar dinosaur—among them Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Diplodocus—with a spiral slider that changes the scene when turned. The hands-on format makes the book’s central activity part of its introduction to prehistoric creatures, while short facts and illustrations add information alongside the visual transformations. Different colors for the dinosaurs also bring basic color recognition into the mix. The combination of moving parts, named dinosaurs, and simple facts gives the book several ways for very young children to engage with its subject.
