A warning from beyond the grave

A dead friend’s message sets this young adult adventure in motion: a teen receives instructions to leave his remote island town and avoid his church, then discovers that a computer program the friend created has been activated. The search for answers leads into a conspiracy, with trust in question and the protagonist alone in unfamiliar wilderness. A hermit with secrets becomes part of the narrow path toward escape. The setup combines a mystery with danger, a remote setting, and a quest for justice, while the Christian-fiction classification places the story within a faith-oriented adventure context.
