Unusual claims, intergalactic cases

Kaede’s ability to distinguish fact from fiction gives his work at Cosmos, an intergalactic insurance agency, an investigative thread linking several very different cases. This volume moves among alien manga creators confronting aging in reverse, a former captive’s return to a rural village, and a criminal alien’s search for a highly specific food. The premise combines workplace investigation with encounters that stretch beyond ordinary human experience, while each case raises questions of identity, survival, or the limits of a career. The supplied description sketches multiple storylines rather than one continuous case, making the volume’s appeal lie in its range of strange clients and circumstances.
