The modern Word of Faith movement is one of the most influential forces in the contemporary Church. However, for a variety of reasons, confusion and misunderstanding have abounded in recent years regarding its origin, teaching, and practices. This has created ample fodder for critics and significant wariness in the minds of the average Christian. Since the movement tends to prefer to focus on day-to-day ministry, rather than academic defense, this situation has remained generally unchanged. In this Master's Thesis submission, Sean Hirschy, a 30-year ministry veteran, offers a refreshing introductory attempt at discussing the merits of the WOF movement.
