Book overview
This special--and especially hilarious--tale gets sillier and sillier with every page turn, exploring the exuberant play of dogs when their humans aren't around.
"Either you come down and play, or we'll poop under your tree."
Three dogs and a squirrel are playing in the forest. Cheeky banter soon ensues, with a surprise on every page that will delight young readers with humor and pizazz. Perhaps best of all, it showcases conflict resolution of the most authentic kind.
Celebrated Swiss illustrator Nina Wehrle sets a brisk pace in the story, combining childlike playfulness and strong graphic imagery. This tall-format book, printed in special colors, is an experience for all the senses: it barks, it farts, it celebrates with cake featuring gummy bears and marshmallows, and it must be read aloud. Come out and play!
