Requests in the underworld, a return home

Volume 9 brings two settings into focus: the underworld, where Hades offers its residents one day to request anything they wish, and Colette’s hometown, which she reaches with her celestial friends. The description spotlights the skeletons’ excited uncertainty about what to ask, alongside Colette’s continued movement between the worlds. These threads extend the series’ mix of apothecary work, underworld life, and romance, while giving this installment a clear contrast between a communal day of wishes and a visit aboveground.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • For manga readers following Colette’s travels between her world and the underworld.
  • For readers interested in fantasy romance involving an apothecary and Hades.
  • For those who enjoy stories featuring underworld residents and celestial companions.

Colette, an overworked apothecary, finds romance and a new lease on life--in the underworld!!

When exhausted workaholic apothecary Colette jumps into a well, instead of dying she finds herself caring for a new patient: Hades, Lord of the Dead. As Colette goes back and forth between her world and the underworld, new patients of every kind arrive daily!

Lord Hades announces that for one day only, he will grant each of the residents of the underworld anything they request. What will the excited and confused skeletons ask for? Meanwhile, aboveground, Colette and her celestial friends reach her hometown!
