An underworld romance takes a winter turn

Colette’s work as an apothecary connects her human world with the underworld, where she cares for Hades alongside patients who arrive from many different places. In this volume, her growing relationship with the Lord of the Dead takes them to the frozen wastes for a date. The description also points to a pivotal exchange between the pair, while leaving its consequences unstated. The blend of apothecary duties, visits between worlds, and developing romance gives this installment both a caregiving thread and a mythic setting.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Manga readers interested in romance set in a mythic underworld.
  • Readers who enjoy stories combining caregiving and supernatural elements.
