A lawn-care mishap with a supernatural sting

Janet’s accidental damage to a tombstone turns an ordinary chore into the source of a growing threat. Insects and spiders begin appearing wherever she goes, while the possibility that the Bugman has returned gives the attacks a distinctly supernatural edge. The setup combines a familiar childhood mistake with a horror premise built around bugs, arachnids, and revenge. As the tenth entry in the Ghosts of Fear Street middle-grade series, the book places Janet’s predicament within a larger sequence of standalone-sounding scares.

Good fit for readers who enjoy
