From pottery clay to a favourite mug
Bird Mug’s journey begins on the potter’s wheel, where clay is shaped, decorated with a bird, and fired in a kiln. From there, the mug enters the lives of its human owners, gathering a collection of favourites along the way. The pottery process gives the story a clear, hands-on thread, while the mug’s changing place in people’s lives connects making an object with the affection it can come to hold.
