Big Chinese Coloring Book for Little Hands is a sister series that is designed for kids who start to learn the Chinese language at a very young age in an English-speaking country/region. Completion of Big Chinese Coloring Book at the Pre-school level (for kids 3+) is a pre-requisite for using the pre-kindergarten book (for kids 4+).
This book will teach your little ones to read 50 basic Chinese characters in addition to the 36 most basic characters that were taught in the pre-school level. Most of these characters selected are pictographs or ideographs which derive from pictures. An ancient script is also used as an aide to help kids associate the meaning with each character. Kids will learn through activities that they are familiar with, such as coloring, drawing, cutting and matching, etc. After completion of this book, your child should be ready to move on to the next level (Kindergarten), will read more words and start tracing and writing Chinese characters!
