A springtime appetite and a friends’ surprise

When Bear wakes from hibernation, spring brings a comic problem: he eats all he can find and still feels hungry. His woodland friends step in with a surprise birthday party, while the trouble of getting through a doorway adds a playful physical gag. The story brings together seasonal change, an outsized appetite, and friendship in a simple picture-book setup for very young children.
