A world built around appetite and survival

Volume 2 continues a grotesque social order where chimeras are raised as food and humans can also become prey. Its central figure is a lamb-like being born for consumption who has escaped that fate; the description leaves her next choices open, framing the story around hunger, vulnerability, and survival within a society governed by predation. Lavish meals and the treatment of living beings as delicacies make consumption part of the world’s structure, not merely its backdrop.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Manga readers interested in dark, speculative societies shaped by human-animal chimeras.
  • Readers drawn to stories about predation, survival, and the boundaries between people and food.
