A small role, a change of heart

Angelina dreams of taking the starring role in a Royal Ballet performance, but receives a much smaller part. Her disappointment puts her commitment to ballet—and to the people around her—at a crossroads. The story’s central tension connects ambition with teamwork, as Angelina chooses to prepare for the performance for her friends. Dance and a stage production provide the setting for this picture-book story, which resolves with an unexpected turn and a happy ending.
