Ami Moon is a lost human girl far from Earth, traveling with a crew of alien Peacekeepers on missions across the galaxy while trying to find her way back to her mother and dog. Framed as the first volume in a graphic-novel trilogy, the book brings together spacefaring adventures and the challenges of working with others: the Peacekeepers’ welcome acknowledges that peacekeeping can involve anger, confusion, and sadness, as well as curiosity and openness.
