A mind-traveler on the acres of Gettysburg

Alicia Averys can experience the world through other people’s eyes, using her ability to visit moments from the past and take part in activities such as a baseball game. When school vandals disrupt her final day of class, she retraces the night through the culprits’ perspectives and faces a question about what to do with what she has learned. The Gettysburg setting, paranormal premise, and school-based mystery bring supernatural adventure together with a choice about revealing a solution.

Book overview

On the acres of Gettysburg is Alicia Averys - a mind-traveler who can see the world through eyes of others. Whether preparing to enter the American Civil War or joining a baseball game, she uses her ability to have fun and experience the past.

Alicia's smile, a declared 10, fades as her final day of school is interrupted by vandals who had too much fun redecorating the school. As her classmates' clamor about who did what and why, Alicia replays the night by riding in the mind of the culprits. Can a mind-traveler tell anyone she solved the crime?
