Bisexual Studies

Bisexual Studies addresses the identities, histories, and lived experiences of bisexual individuals within the broader context of LGBTQ+ Studies. This subject often investigates social attitudes, cultural representation, and specific challenges faced by people who identify as bisexual, offering research and theory distinct from scholarship focused solely on lesbian, gay, or queer identities.

Readers interested in gender, sexuality, or intersectionality can use Bisexual Studies to focus their research on the nuances and diversity of bisexual experience. Exploring this category separately from general LGBTQ+ Studies highlights works that engage directly with bisexuality, allowing for more targeted understanding or investigation.
