Creativity in full color

This interactive journal turns color into material for hands-on prompts: painting, shredding, transforming pages, and letting chance guide choices. Activities include mixing colors into mud and weaving with bright paper strips, alongside new, altered, and familiar prompts from the journal’s earlier form. The book’s central idea is to use the journal itself as a space for experimentation, where making and altering are part of the creative work. Its 224 pages offer a guided set of activities rather than a conventional blank notebook.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Adults looking for structured prompts to experiment with color and materials.
  • Those familiar with earlier editions of Wreck This Journal, as well as newcomers to the activity-journal format.
