Saint John Paul II believed in women. In this Apostolic Letter, he summons the women of the Church to take the place God has prepared for them. This means that women, inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit, are called to step it up, to be a part of the answer for the many dangers that humanity is facing. It is not enough to have coffee and talk about all the problems. He is directing all women to influence human change as the grace is given to them through the power of the Holy Spirit.
What does it mean to be a woman in the order of love? Does this meaning exist? If so, how does this meaning affect every aspect of the life of women in their various roles within marriage and the family, the workplace, the Church, and society at large?
Saint John Paul II calls for a clearer understanding of women and the vital role they are called to play. Women and men, together, reflect God best, so when we talk about women taking their rightful place, we are talking about the place that God has for them side by side with men: "male and female he created them" (Gen 1:27).
