Yaron Meek has been confined to the walls of his home city, Toterrum, his entire life. Terror, oppression, and a tiered society drive him and his friends to obey while feeding into Yaron's growing anxiety about himself and his world. On his eighteenth birthday, Yaron notices a mist above his mother's head, launching him into dramatic change and freedom from the walls.
The mist is Aura and Yaron can control it. He soon learns from a Perceptionist named Aurora that there are five Auras-Vigor, Perception, Mentality, Luck, and Empathy. After escaping Toterrum, Yaron travels with Aurora and another friend to Flaunte, Perception's capital, to learn what Aura he can manipulate.
Corrupt history, partner beasts, exotic landscapes, betrayal, budding romance, developing mental health, and war all follow Yaron as he begins his adventure in the world of Biome.
Will Yaron figure out his Aura? Will this newfound power turn into something malicious? Will escaping Toterrum help him escape his inner demons?
