he was his spear-carrier and his shadow

Siddhartha was loved by everyone

সিদ্ধার্থকে সবার প্রিয় ছিল

He was a source of joy for everybody

তিনি ছিলেন সবার জন্য আনন্দের উৎস

he was a delight for them all

তিনি তাদের সকলের জন্য আনন্দিত ছিলেন

But he, Siddhartha, was not a source of joy for himself

কিন্তু তিনি, সিদ্ধার্থ, নিজের জন্য আনন্দের উৎস ছিলেন না

he found no delight in himself
