A Broadway-ready Cinderella with Rodgers & Hammerstein songs

This 108-page paperback presents the Broadway adaptation of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, pairing familiar songs such as “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago” with Douglas Carter Beane’s updated libretto. The material traces the musical’s movement from its 1957 television debut through later television remakes to the 2013 Broadway production. Framed as a contemporary version of the classic fairy tale, it foregrounds the interplay between a well-known story, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s score, and a revised stage book.
