Drippy and Sticky arrive at the fire station to paint the firehouse, but ringing alarms soon pull them into the bustle of the station. Firetrucks, hoses and fire poles shape this picture-book visit to a working firehouse, with the two characters caught up in the activity. The setting gives the story a clear focus on firefighters and the equipment they use, while its Busytown characters keep the adventure grounded in Richard Scarry’s familiar world.
