Across the stories, Ramona navigates the everyday upheavals of childhood: friction with Willa Jean, an embarrassing day at school, changes in the Quimby family, and the beginnings of a first close friendship. The episodes keep the focus on family life, school, and the small-but-important challenges that shape Ramona’s growing-up years.
