A spiritual account of “dying, before you die”

Continuing the journey begun in Book 8, Marjorie Tyler recounts taking repeated predictions of her death on August 8, 2024, seriously enough to share them widely. When her physical death did not occur, she describes the experience as a catalyst for a deeper spiritual opening. The book frames that change through her awakening from a perceived separation from God and her understanding of “dying, before you die,” with the Holy Spirit’s help central to her account. Its subject is the meaning she draws from an anticipated death that did not happen, rather than a guide to physical dying.

Good fit for readers who enjoy

  • Readers following Marjorie Tyler’s spiritual journey, particularly from Book 8 onward.
  • Readers interested in personal accounts of spiritual awakening and closeness to God.
  • Readers exploring spiritual interpretations of mortality and inner transformation.

Book overview

This book, which picks up where Book 8 left off, continues Marjorie Tyler's journey of awakening from the dream of separation from God, and has come about as a result of being told, almost daily since 2022, that she would die on August 8, 2024. She took this death date, aka DD, very seriously and proceeded to announce the predicted event to her family and friends, and to almost everyone she met . . . strangers on the beach, condo staff, vendors, and even her doctor. The death of her physical body did not occur, which was a surprise, because she trusted it would, and yet the experience was profound. With the help of the Holy Spirit, it became clear to her that she had been given an even "grander gift" ... a mind and heart opening of "dying, before you die," the full understanding of which she could never have imagined.
