A November calendar adventure

November’s search for the date of Thanksgiving connects the changing holiday calendar with the month’s other activities. Along the way, the story introduces Veterans Day, touches on American history, and brings in turkey crafts at school, while the anticipated family feast—and an aunt’s pie—keeps Thanksgiving in view. The book combines calendar awareness with seasonal celebrations and school projects, framing November as a month of events to discover.
