Promises tested across kingdoms and seas

The fourth Annabelle of Anchony installment brings several threads of separation and obligation together. After a shipwreck, Annabelle is stranded on unfamiliar territory while her husband must find a way to reach her; elsewhere, Prince Thomas searches for his missing brother, and Princess Anastacia is aboard a pirate ship after being taken from the castle. The publisher’s description connects these crises through promises made and the characters’ trust in the “Word Incarnate,” placing Christian faith alongside the series’ royal and adventure elements. The story spans Anchony, the Sockor Islands, Sethel, and Monakala, with Queen Camrina’s actions touching multiple kingdoms.

Book overview

After a shipwreck, Annabelle of Anchony, again separated from her family, finds herself on a distant land inhabited by pillaging pagans who sacrifice children to their gods: the Seafurs. Pregnant with twins when arriving, she must survive in the harshest environment in which she has ever lived, while dodging the pagans as she hopes her husband, Sir Nicholaus Hunts, will come for her soon. But how will he make it to a land he doesn't know exists?

Prince Thomas, having promised his younger brother, Eduard, that he would search for him if he were ever taken, is desperate to fulfill his word. And although the queen of the Sockor Islands is imprisoned in the Abolian dungeon, she will not speak a word about Eduard's whereabouts. How will Annabelle's family ever find her youngest brother who was taken by the queen?

Princess Anastacia of Sethel, the true heir to the Sethelian throne, finds herself aboard a pirate ship, stolen away from Queen Camrina's castle by Captain Anguis. But who is this man who freed Anastacia and paid for Annabelle's rescue from Oro Island? What will he do with the princess?

Monakala, the kingdom south of Anchony, has felt the wicked hand of Queen Camrina. King Marcus is haunted by the promise he made to his nephew, Prince Leonardus, years prior, and was left unfulfilled because of the queen of the Sockor Islands.

Join the knights and royals in the fourth installment of the epic Annabelle of Anchony series as they desperately try to fulfill their promises in Lasting Word while trusting in the unchanging Word Incarnate.
