Book overview
What if the One you're searching for has been searching for you all along?
When Simi loses his father, his young heart is left with a question too big to ignore: Where is God when someone you love is gone?
Growing up in Kenya, Simi longs to understand the God he has heard about but cannot seem to find. If God is real, Simi decides, then surely He must be somewhere waiting to be discovered.
So Simi becomes The God Hunter.
Determined to find God for himself, Simi embarks on an unforgettable journey filled with courage, unexpected challenges, breathtaking adventures, and friends he never imagined meeting. Along the way, his search takes him farther than he ever expected-and teaches him lessons he could never have learned by staying home.
But Simi soon discovers something that changes everything.
God was never lost.
Through every frightening moment, every difficult road, every unexpected encounter, and every place Simi thought he was alone, God had been there-guiding his steps, protecting his heart, and quietly leading him toward the truth.
What begins as a young boy's search for God becomes a powerful journey of faith, hope, courage, and discovery.
The God Hunter is a heartfelt adventure that reminds children-and the grown-ups reading beside them-that grief may leave us with questions, but it does not mean we are alone. Sometimes, the greatest treasure we could ever find is not something we discover at the end of a journey.
Sometimes, the One we are searching for has been right beside us all along.
Join Simi on an adventure that will make you laugh, wonder, explore, and perhaps look a little differently at the God who has been there from the very beginning.
Because when you go looking for God, you may discover that He was looking for you first.
