Breakfast at the Hibiscus

Breakfast at the Hibiscus is the continuation of a series of conversations and experiences reflected through poetry and prose. The Hibiscus presents as a noun and a verb, as it is tangible; however, it goes through a process, providing beauty where it is placed. Breakfast is the author's favourite meal, and he shares this preference with many others, as this meal provides comfort and a realization of luxury that most take for granted.
"She is most beautiful in the morning.
The night's rest does its magic, and she is renewed.
As radiant the sunrise, and she is energized.
His eyes witness a real sleeping beauty, restored organically, as if the Creator revisited to once again admire and retouch His masterpiece.
He is a recipient,
cherishing the gift that is her.
His eyes beholding her,
a true beauty at sunrise.
Breakfast is served."
Breakfast a Moment, an Experience, a Lesson
Breakfast at the Hibiscus continues the provocation of the realities of life, cementing the notion that much of life is lived in a reactive state.
